Founded in 1947, Magnum Photos is the world’s most prestigious photographic agency — a collective of more than 100 photographers from more than 50 countries.

The refreshed identity has been designed to assist and reflect the collective’s renewed focus on the next generation of photographers, whilst consolidating a vital visual link to its iconic past. An open Magnum, true to its founding principles.

The iconic black square’s use has been expanded to become a separate, active element within the identity; supporting messaging, sub-brand extensions, and providing the visual basis for more expressive brand communications.
